  South Kawishiwi River near Ely affecting northwestern Lake County.

.High water continues on the Kawishiwi River due to the effects of
recent heavy rains and the last of ongoing snowmelt. Expect high,
fast moving water through the Kawishiwi River, Isabella River, and
Basswood River. Lake levels across the Boundary Waters Wilderness
Area will be high.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and to the National Weather Service in Duluth when you
can do so safely. Flooding can be reported to the National Weather
Service at 1-800-685-8612.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by recent rain and snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following
  counties, Cheboygan and Emmet.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding is occurring. Roads and structures near lakes
  and rivers will continue to see high water levels with slow
  improvement expected into next week.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 325 AM EDT, Flooding continues across the warned area,
    which encompasses a large portion of Emmet and Cheboygan
    counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Washington...

  Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County.

For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued May 4 at 1200 PDT.Monday afternoon
at noon PDT.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and
  overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road
  inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning
  to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 AM PDT Sunday the stage was 21.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:30 AM PDT Sunday was 21.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.5
    feet early Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 20.5 feet.
