Including the cities of the Dalton Highway from MP 0 to MP 38,
Eagle Summit, Finger Mountain, Prospect Creek, Gobblers Knob,
Livengood, the Elliott Highway from MP 32 to MP 134, Circle Hot
Springs, the Dalton Highway from MP 39 to MP 164, the Steese
Highway from MP 85 to MP 124, the Yukon River Bridge, and
Twelvemile Summit

...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM FRIDAY TO 3 AM AKST
MONDAY...
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Winds gusting as high as 50
mph. Very cold wind chills as cold as 60 below expected.
* WHERE...Dalton Highway Summits and White Mountains and High
Terrain South of the Yukon River.
* WHEN...From 9 PM Friday to 3 AM AKST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility to a quaryer mile or less at times. Travel could be
very difficult. Frostbite may occur in as little as 5 minutes to
exposed skin. This will be a prolonged period of very cold
conditions.
Additional Details: Northeasterly winds increase Friday night and
peak Saturday. Dangerous wind chills of 40 to 60 below expected.
Winds slowly decrease through Sunday and more rapidly decrease
Monday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle. The latest road conditions for the state you are
calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM FRIDAY TO 3 PM AKST
SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations up
to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Dangerous wind
chills as low as 55 below expected.
* WHERE...Eastern Alaska Range South of Trims Camp and Southern
Denali Borough along the Parks Highway near Cantwell.
* WHEN...From 6 PM Friday to 3 PM AKST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Frostbite may occur in
as little as 5 minutes to exposed skin. Blowing snow may reduce
visibility to one quarter mile or less at times. This will be a
prolonged period of very cold conditions.
Additional Details: Northerly winds increase Friday evening and peak
Saturday morning. Winds shift more northeasterly Sunday and decrease
Sunday afternoon.
