...AVALANCHE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 4:30 PM FRIDAY UNTIL 4:30 PM
SUNDAY...
*WHAT...Dangerous avalanche conditions develop on Friday night.
Expect the Avalanche Danger to rise to HIGH (Level 4 of 5).
*WHERE...Front Range and Gore Range.
*WHEN...Expect very dangerous avalanche conditions to begin on
Friday night and last until 5:00 PM on Sunday.
*IMPACTS...High snowfall rates and strong winds will create
dangerous avalanche conditions by Friday night. Large and dangerous
avalanches will be easy to trigger once the new snow accumulates.
Avalanches will run naturally. Travel in backcountry avalanche
terrain is not recommended during this time.
