BC interior.
At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight low located over Explorer.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Sunday weakening low located over the Central
Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday low located over northern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Sunday weakening low located west of Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:27 PM PST 20 December 2025 A building Arctic ridge over the interior is producing strong to gale
force outflow winds through some of the North Coast inlets. The winds
are expected to persist tonight and Sunday.
A low pressure centre is forecast to develop over Explorer tonight
and track northeastward into the Central Coast Sunday morning. Strong
to gale force southerly to southwesterly winds are expected to
develop south of the low.
Another low pressure centre over Bowie will bring strong to gale
force easterly winds over the northern sections of Bowie on Sunday.
