Showers. Risk of thunderstorms Friday morning and afternoon. Visibility 1 mile or less in showers.

By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight weakening low located over the North Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PST today low 994 mb located southwest of Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing low located over the southern
Strait of Georgia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:36 AM PST 18 December 2025 A low pressure centre will track across Southern Explorer this
morning and Vancouver Island in the afternoon. Ahead of the low,
Gale force southeasterlies will develop this morning over the inner
South Coast. In its wake, strong to gale force westerlies will
develop over Explorer midday today and then spread to the inner
South Coast this afternoon.
