Issued 4:00 AM NDT 6 October 2026 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 985 mb located over the Quebec
Lower North Shore.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday low 977 mb located over the South
Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the East
Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:03 AM NDT 6 October 2026 A low pressure system over the Quebec Lower North Shore will track
northeastward today to lie over the South Labrador Sea overnight
tonight. The low will continue to slowly move eastward on Wednesday.
Strong to gale force northeasterlies to easterlies will develop ahead
of the low today and shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies
behind it on Wednesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northwest Labrador Sea - northern half.
