Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:57 PM NDT 21 March 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Labrador Sea will slowly slide
south and pivot overnight. Strong to gale force north to
northwesterlies will develop over southern waters west of the trough
on Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
