Issued 9:30 PM NST 19 December 2025 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday departing ridge located east of Labrador
Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 973 mb located over central
Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Saturday low 947 mb located over the South
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:22 PM NST 19 December 2025 An intensifying low pressure system over Quebec will track over the
Labrador Sea on Saturday. Gale to storm force northeasterlies to
southeasterlies will develop to the north of its track with gale to
storm force southerlies developing to the south of its track.
Storm to hurricane force north to northwesterlies will follow in the
wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for North Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea.
Storm warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville and the Labrador coast.
