Marine District.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today low 999 mb located over southern Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing low 1000 mb located over the
eastern Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 8:00 p.m. AST Monday approaching ridge located over New England.


Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:32 AM AST 21 December 2025 A low pressure system will move across Southern Quebec today and will
lie over the Eastern Gulf of St. Lawrence tonight. Strong to gale
force southwesterlies will develop ahead of the low today.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable,
Fourchu, Banquereau - northwestern half and Cabot Strait.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Northumberland Strait,
Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou - eastern half and Anticosti.
