Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
A late season Alberta clipper will give heavy snow to portions of western and central Manitoba beginning Tuesday afternoon.
The heavy snow will taper off overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning.
Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Local utility outages are possible. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to snowfall accumulations.
