Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected in some locations.
Another Alberta Clipper will give snow, blowing snow and gusty winds to parts of western and southern Manitoba on Friday.
What: Reduced visibilities in blowing snow.
Timing: Friday morning into the afternoon and evening.
Total snowfall: 5 to 12 cm, with higher amounts over the Parklands of Manitoba.
Wind gusts: southerly gusts as high as 70 km/h on Friday afternoon; northwesterly gusts to 60 km/h on Friday night.
Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility. Road closures are possible. Blowing snow advisories are issued when widespread poor visibility in blowing snow is expected.
