over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today departing trough located from the Avalon
Peninsula to East Scotian Slope.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located over Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday ridge located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday intensifying low 1011 mb located south
of West Scotian Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 1007 mb located south of Laurentian
Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:40 AM ADT 27 March 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Gulf of St Lawrence this morning
will continue moving eastward today. Strong to gale force south to
southwest winds south of the trough shift to strong to gale force
northwesterlies in its wake later today.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Northumberland Strait,
Gulf-Magdalen - southwestern half and Chaleur-Miscou.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St Lawrence waters.
