By 8:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday trough located southeast of Greenland.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday approaching ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Maritimes.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:51 PM NDT 6 April 2026 A trough of low pressure east of the Belle Isle Bank will continue
tracking northeastward to lie southeast of Greenland by Tuesday
evening. Strong to gale force southwesterlies to northwesterlies will
persist in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and Southwest Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, Belle
Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
