St. Lawrence River to the Gulf of Maine.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday departing trough located over the
southeastern Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. AST Saturday ridge located over the southwestern
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:54 PM AST 19 December 2025 A trough of low pressure just west of the region will continue to
intensify as it tracks across the district tonight to lie east of the
area Saturday afternoon. Gale to storm force southerlies ahead of the
trough will shift to gale to storm force westerlies in its wake.
Winds will diminish over southwestern waters later Saturday as a
ridge of high pressure builds in from the west.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Fundy, Northumberland Strait and Chaleur-Miscou
where gale warnings are in effect.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Gulf-Magdalen,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
