Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:38 AM AST 17 December 2025 A trough of low pressure over Quebec will move southeast and cross
the marine district tonight. Strong to gale force southwesterlies
will develop today ahead of the trough and shift to strong to gale
force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northumberland Strait and Chaleur - Miscou.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Anticosti - northwestern half.
