District.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Sunday trough located east of Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:00 PM NDT 21 March 2026 A trough of low pressure over Cape Breton Island will track
northeastward across the district tonight to lie northeast of Belle
Isle Bank by Sunday evening. Gale force southwesterlies are expected
over the Southeastern Grand Banks tonight ahead of the trough. Strong
to gale force southwesterlies to northwesterlies are expected in its
wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northeast Gulf.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and Northeast Coast.
